A very fine English George III Period c.1785, satinwood secretaire/desk . The upper case with glazed doors, above a long shallow drawer. The lower case with a cylinder roll opening to a fitted interior with small drawers and dividers. The pull-out writing surface with an adjustable reading board, above two long drawers w/elaborate engraved brass & pewter pulls. The legs are squared and tapered.
