Such an illusion of three dimension. The front buildings seem to jump right out into the foreground but it is actually all one plane. The cityscape started as an illustration, printed, mounted on a eight foot piece of wood which was perfectly carved to mimic the shape of the buildings. Paint and resin were then added to the surface for detail and a reflective, protective finish. Four wall anchors hold the sculpture in place on the wall. Such a stunningly unique piece of art with depth and character. less
