The Stangl Magnolia pattern was designed by Kay Hackett and was introduced in 1942. Some limited pieces remained in production until the 1970s however the vast majority of pieces ceased production in the 1960s. The pattern was designed using primary colors with 6 different types of fruits and features incised lines and raised detail. Like most Stangl, it is hand painted with no two pieces exactly alike. These 6" round plates feature a single hanging peach on the branch. The plates have a smooth white background, unlike the earlier editions that had a hand-brushed white engobe.

Measures ~ 6 1/4" diameter x 1/4" H.

In excellent vintage condition. Without chips, deep scratches, or cracks. The graphics are intact and bright. The glaze is shiny. Please see the pictures. See less
