Originally designed … more Dining table from Italy by iconic designer Osvaldo Borsani and produced by Fossati Attilio & Arturo from 1950. Originally designed as part of a full room set by Borsani. This piece has a very unique shape, with convex sides and concave ends. A mirror sits on top for a Modernist detail. The pedestal base is made with a rosewood veneer and has four feet capped with bronze. The curves of the top are reflected in the curves of the base. The table is finished in a lustrous French polish of museum-quality. It is in excellent vintage condition – the photos accurately depict the condition.

Osvaldo Borsani was a true innovator and designer. Born in 1911, he was the visionary figure behind influential mid-century Italian furniture brand Tecno. He was respected for his high-quality, functional, and pioneering designs. He was instrumental in bringing modernist design to Italy while remaining committed to the Italian tradition of fine craftsmanship.
