I found this … more This antique Queen Anne style footstool features cabriole legs with pad feet and brand new, custom upholstery. I found this footstool at a garage sale and immediately knew its potential. Previous layers of upholstery were stripped away to reveal the bare frame. Encapsulated horsehair and straw was the first layer - see pictures. The frame has been cleaned and conditioned so as to preserve the rich patina on the legs. The top has been newly upholstered in a gorgeous peach moire fabric with embroidered insects in a coral color. Around the base of the seat is a co-ordinating fringe trim. This would make a gorgeous accent piece in any room, especially a dressing room, nursery or child's room. less
