Description: Originally manufactured in Durham, NC by the Piedmont Furniture company in the early 1900's, this beautiful dresser chest of drawers … more Originally manufactured in Durham, NC by the Piedmont Furniture company in the early 1900's, this beautiful dresser chest of drawers features spectacular wood overlays, wood veneer and depression-era charm. The wood overlays feature walnut, birds eye maple, and a variety of stained wood. Walnut veneers are also featured on the tops and fronts of the large drawers. The side panels appear to be a cherry veneer and the trim work a mix of poplar and hard maple. The brass and copper plated hardware was refinished to its original appearance and new brass castors have been added to the legs.
