A pair of 1948 Gladys Brown pot metal bookend horses. I have been told that these are a very rare model known as angry stallions, commissioned by Ray Dodge, and were not produced very long as he thought they looked too angry. One of them has a brass finish, the other a dark metal & copper finish. As you can see there is some wear and loss to the metal finishes, several places with spots of patina/ spots of green patina. They have moderate wear, some finish loss allover but the wear and patina add to the rustic feel of these.
Each is about 7.1" tall x 6" deep x 4.1" wide. less
