This is one piece. Top shelf is glass, upper portion has 2 other shelves that can be adjusted in height with peg holes. Bottom closed section has just one shelf. Good storage, clean piece. Issues include bit of fraying on bottom left hand side (I'm thinking bad puppy chewing!), left hand side has scratch as shown, when door opens there are 3 whitish marks on the top arched section. Typical wear for her age. Comes with working light as well. Back cut out in 2 spots to accomodate wiring. less
