This set of three antique Chinese screen door panels showcases handmade intricately designed lattice patterns that allow air to circulate and the sun to shine through creating a mesmerizing visual effect. Each wood panel has a superbly carved high-relief motif above and below the lattice pattern. The upper raised relief panel is of a frangipani tree branch with a flower blossom and the lower raised relief panel is of several whole frangipani trees on hills. This set of 3 pcs Chinese antique open carved wooden panels were from a cabinet and or door panels in ancient China that were put together to make a screen. Screens have been known to grace the rooms of wealthy Chinese homes since ancient times. These 3 panels are not only a piece of Chinese history but also beautiful works of art! The panels would make a wonderful addition to any room.
