Wedgwood Bone China Classic Georgian Shape Ivy Pattern Hand Painted Teapot.

The pattern is called Napoleon Ivy, because it was first made around 1800 and was the china used by Napoleon Bonaparte while he was an exile on St. Helena in 1815 after his defeat by the British and Admiral Nelson at the Battle Of Waterloo.
The original set was a service for five hundred,not a bad life even if you4 in exile….
This Large Teapot is 10” x 7” x 6” in Pristine Condition and is part of Centennial c1970 Re Issue of this pattern.
