Vintage California Pottery Planter by Eugene White in brown speckled avocado glaze.

Eugene White was a staple in the California Pottery scene. He began teaching art at Pepperdine in the fall of 1939. He loved making pottery and some of it was even featured in Better Homes and Gardens and the LA Times in the late 1940s in addition to often being included in books written about California Pottery.
