As well as the meat fork stating Stainless Germany. Makers mark name is, Solingen GES. GESCH. on the handle of the meat knife, both sides one etched with designer and Country, while the other is Maker's Company, etc. as well as fork stating provenance country, also stating on meat for, Germany on handle of blade of fork, While the end caps between blade and carved handles is silver plate, so are the the end caps, to the end of stag handles. The actual metal blade and fork portions is Stainless steel, with silver plate end caps between the antler/boar handles and stainless portions, of serving utensils, as well as ends. We will say though the knife blade is really sharp.
