This very large sized round shaped ladle has a curve tip at the top of the fiddle shaped handle. Hallmarks are: TW over JH=Thomas Wallis, Jr and Jonathan Hayne, Rampant lion=English sterling, Leopard head with crown=London, Date letter T=1814, Regent assay profile facing R. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Length top to bottom=13 inches, Width of bowl=3-1/4 inches, Depth of bowl=1 inch, Weight=6.10 Troy ounces. This marvelous sterling silver ladle has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent antique condition, free from cracks or repairs. There is an engraved script "B" on the tip of the handle.
