The chairs … more Three unsigned Irish Chippendale style carved armchairs. Delicate ribbon and foliate carvings with front and rear cabriole legs. The chairs are in various states of refurbishment giving us some clues to their original age. We have estimated the age be early to mid 20th century. All three have spring seating supported by webbing. The chairs are 40" tall. The width is 27" at the front of the armrests. The seats are 20" deep, with a width of 24". The seat height are 19". The arm rests are 26.5" from the ground.

The first chair has a newer leather seat top, refinished wood, and replaced seat cushion and webbing. The second chair has newer but torn leather, wood that has not been refinished, and newer webbing. The third chair has faded leather, with everything else appearing to be original. The third chair has a loose left arm. The second chair has a sturdy but repaired right arm. less
