The porcelain shaped into a traditional Meiping form, large, thick and tall potted, wide body on shoulder, slender neck easing to form narrow opening, with emerging slight flaring ring mouth rim, raised on round foot base, with slight concave.
The vase body is covered with deep blue green and covered with a blue green glaze. Buff coloured clays were folded and twisted together to form bodies with elaborate veined patterns.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mar. Made in The Years YongZheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
The Upper bulbous body is decorated with a
dragon curling at Neck
