Made of finely carved … Read more Splendid mirror made by a artisan teacher, following the extraordinary mirrors louis xiv (1643 - 1715). Made of finely carved wood and overdied with aged effect. Body with quadrangular and lush copete profile at the top. These two parts present the typical elements of louis xiv mirrors. The main body has a double corridor, the interior with smaller mirrors. In addition, ornaments in the corners and half of each side that enhance its shape. In the upper part, a large copete is developed, which presents in its central area the cup of abundance, framed by a multitude of rocks that create a kind of ephemeral architecture. Floral elements distributed throughout the whole and a great fleshy acanthus sheet that crowns it.
