The overall shape of the mirror is very modern and streamlined, but where the handle joins the round mirror, Nielsen included classic Art Deco geometric motifs -- small spheres and radiating forms. Although Denmark and Sweden provided a nurturing environment for several remarkable silversmiths in the Art Deco period, Jensen was incontestably the most celebrated and successful, and for many years, Nielsen was one of his leading designers.
