This bench was a classic design and elegant with some simple carving and solid construction. Black lacquer finished. Smooth to touch. A lot of patina. It was used everywhere in ancient China, you can see it in the restaurants, theaters, garden etc. A very useful and convenient seat for extra guests. You can even use it as a workout bench! Strongly recommend.
