Charming solid mahogany furniture and mahogany veneer comprising with a belt two drawers, the periphery of which has a frame ring with in an inner part a small brass doucine molding. These drawers open using a bronze key with original lock in working order. The passage of the key is underlined by a chiseled bronze entrance.
The two sides of this piece of furniture consist of the same ornaments. Indeed, we find a brass wand with Doucine forming a frame.
This cylinder office rests on four feet turned in a spindle with arrested grooves, each ending with a brass shoe.
The cylinder part of this piece of furniture is embellished with a doucine molding and has on each side a bronze of vegetable inspiration bending and forming a finger passage allowing the opening of this office. Between two, a Louis XVI key in bronze, identical to those at the bottom, activates a two -point lock.
At the opening, we discover an office space consisting of a sliding tablet with solid mahogany around, darkened with a leather of origin of a black granite embellished with a golden thumbnail and cold storm. This inner part is also made up of two drawers whose mahogany facade is embellished with a bronze lens button. All the interiors and drawers of drawers of this piece of furniture are in oak.
In the upper part of this piece of furniture, we find two doors opening on brass hinges and having a framing with a cut of tab accompanied in an inside part of Doucine baguettes, darkened with an original mirror with mercury. The right door opens with a key identical to the previous ones, lock in operating state and two similar bronze entries.
The left door is condemned with a small clasp at the bottom of the door. The two doors meet with a quarter of a brass round.
At the opening, we discover a storage space made up of a fixed shelf.
Finally, this piece of furniture is topped with a slightly veined white carrare marble surrounded by an openwork brass gallery.
This small Louis XVI office will delight you with its ideal dimensions for a substantial space gain, the beauty of its wood and its ingenuity.
