David Azuz (1942-2014) was an Israeli born French artist who worked in a colorful, Primitivist style. During his lifetime he had numerous one-man shows at galleries throughout Europe, America and Israel. Most of his work portrayed groups of people going about their everyday lives in an empathetic and vibrant manner that stressed the shared humanity of his subjects.
This 1979 limited edition lithograph is signed and numbered in pencil (22/35 AP) by the artist on the paper along with his personal studio blind stamp. Printer's name and production date is stamped on verso. This is one of 35 artist's proofs along with an edition of 200. Image size is 25 x 19.5 on 30x23 paper.
Print is unused, in excellent condition, and ships rolled in a tube. less
