This mandarin red water buffalo hide leather box featuring a beautifully calligraphed poem with touches of gold ink and finished with lacquer on all sides with full locking hardware. Water buffalo hide is one of the most durable, repairable, heirloom grade materials in the world. The stunning box sits on a custom-fitted brass stand. The box is internally reinforced and many interior designers creatively use it as a side table or an occasional seating.
This piece is handmade with a leather-lined interior with a reinforced top, full latch, and all concealed hardware, with great attention to detail (even the bottom is fully finished).
Designed by Lawrence & Scott and handcrafted by top craftsman in Hong Kong for us exclusively.
