This lacquered top-grade water buffalo hide leather box on a rosewood stand features a hand-painted "winter Three Friends" tree scene on all five sides (except the bottom) and finished with lacquer. This piece is made with a leather-lined interior. The box is reinforced and can even be sat on. It still has a rich leather fragrance. The black is rich with the leather grain pattern clearly visible.
Designed by the late legendary designer Lucia Lawrence and handcrafted by a top craftsman in Hong Kong.
