The clasp is a cluster of pearls raise up a bit like a dome. To open it you push down on the button and pull out the tongue. It is marked 14k on the tongue.

The necklace is 14.5" long - pearls could be added if you want it a little longer.
The width below is the clasp. The width of the pearls is approximately .28" or 7.3 mm. less
