With exquisite detail, the pouch-shaped body features a basketweave pattern overlayed with leafy sprigs of bamboo leaves, a thick curved bamboo handle that roots at the base, and a delicate bamboo root finial atop the lid. The exterior glaze has a rich, lustrous color hue and light crazing, consistent with age and history. The underside of the lid and bottom are unglazed. No nicks, chips, cracks or repairs. A gorgeous piece that has been well-maintained. less
