Based from online research of Cherry Gallery … more A stunning 1930s era, hickory chaise lounge with woven rattan or wicker top. Based from online research of Cherry Gallery - "Defining and Identifying Old Hickory vs. Hickory Furniture," we believe this chaise lounge or daybed is made by Indiana State Farm Industries in Putnamville, Indiana where prison inmates were involved in the making of it and other hickory furniture pieces - sometimes referred to as "prison" hickory and these pieces were not signed. This piece is incredibly sturdy and is ready for use or display. The seat height is 18.5 inches, with the headrest rising to 25 inches. The chaise lounge or daybed has a couple minor breaks in the rattan. Please see photographs for an overall representation of condition. less
