The shakers for pepper have slightly larger holes than the shakers for salt as shown in the photos and they are 5.5" tall - larger than most & very stately. Two matching pairs are stunning salt & pepper shakers with the original Makers Mark of Wallace Silversmiths. The two pairs are marked with "R. W. - profile of a deer's head -S S" - As of 1956 the company name was changed to Wallace Silversmiths. Each shaker is marked as Sterling with the Makers Mark. The two matching pairs are from the early 20th century & are probably over 100 years old. less
