The brass hardware has been buffed and polished to a nice shine but still has a few light imperfections. Additional trim has been added to the lower edge of each side to cover chipped damaged surfaces. No strange odors or smoke smells have been detected. We have METICULOUSLY cleaned and inspected this piece and found no major damages or defects. Overall this is one handsome looking cabinet that displays well from all angles. less
