- Offered is a very old little French brass basket. It has open fret work that is very pretty and has … more Offered is a very old little French brass basket. It has open fret work that is very pretty and has bow and floral handles. It is missing the bottom, could have been brass or glass. I have owned this for many years and put miniature eggs in it at Easter, using a moss bed. Other than the missing bottom, it is in very good condition, no breaks to the fretwork, sits flat. There is a small amount of area with corrosion to give it a verdi patina. This would be a rare find! less
