This Marc Chagall vintage 1972 authentic lithograph print " Composition with Circles and Goat " 1920, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection. The authentic lithograph print is printed in Italy in 1972. It features an artwork image originally created by Chagall in 1920 titled " Composition with Circles and Goat "
Marc Chagall ( 1887 - 1985 ) the French Russian born jewish Expressionist artist is known for both his sense of color and his fluid aesthetic. His early Modernist artworks explore concepts and themes of spirituality, angelic influences, and the Jewish cultural life human experience. Chagall is commonly regarded as the quintessential preeminent jewish artist of the both Century. His mastery of the expressive language of color, and creations in nearly every medium and form of art won him recognition as a leading figure in world Modern Art.
The lithograph print is a page from an authentic vintage artists publication. The lithograph print plate is attached to the page with method called " tipping " where it is attached by hand on 3 corners. There is unrelated text on the reverse back side of the page that refers to a different artwork image.
The print image measures 8 3/4" W X 6 3/4" H, on a page that is 9" W X 12" H. It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling. It has never been framed. Please see photos for Condition reference. It is now being offered here for an excellent price. less
