The lithograph print poster was published in a limited unnumbered edition by Pace Editions in 1977 for an exhibition of the artworks of the Modernist artist jean Dubuffet at The Pace Gallery in New York City.

jean Dubuffet ( 1901 - 1985 ) French born modernist painter and sculptor. His idealistic approach to aesthetics embraced so called " Low Art " and eschewed traditional standards of beauty in favor of what he believed to be a more authentic and humanistic approach to image making. best known for the art movement " Art Brut " and for the collection of artworks " Collection de L'Art Brut " that this movement spawned. His use of unorthodox Materials and Techniques garnered the artworks as some of the most important Modernist works of the 20th Century.

The large format rare out of print vintage framed exhibition poster measures 36 3/4" W X 30 1/2" H X 3/4" D. It is custom framed with plexiglass in a classic modern chrome finish metal frame molding with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
