Description: This wonderful Figurine is made out of porcelain. This piece is stamped as being made by Samson in France, see … more This wonderful Figurine is made out of porcelain. This piece is stamped as being made by Samson in France, see pictures, and the stamp dates this piece to 1885-1929. This figurine is a depiction of a scene from the Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist, in which the character Oliver Twist asks the master in the workhouse if he can have more food. Oliver Twist is depicted wearing a green jacket and vest, red pants, and holding a bowl and spoon, and the master is depicted wearing a red jacket, yellow apron, and standing beside the brick copper in which the food is served from; the characters are standing on a white and gold base that reads "Oliver asks for more."

The measurements are: height=5" width=4 1/4" depth=2 1/4" approx. less
