This stunning sculpture choker necklace was designed by American artist Eileen Aubi in 1961. The gilded coating resin pebbles with a hand-made feel are topped with black stone chips and complemented with gilded metal beads. The hand-written signature at the back reads Aubi - 1961 - © - NY.
Eileen Aubi was born in New York in 1933. She was a jewelry designer from the 1960s until the 1990s with her company, Aubi Designs Inc. In 1987 she began a new career as an instructor for art school.
Measurements: The necklace's total length is 15.75 in (40 cm) - each pebble is 1.50 in long (3.8 cm) x 1.25 in wide (3.2 cm).
