This hand-knotted wool 10x14 rug is a new piece from the Moroccan rug collection by Rug & Kilim. Its design represents our modern take on primitivist Berber weaving styles, and enjoys beige-brown geometric patterns with pink accents.
On the Design:
Admirers of the craft may appreciate the slightly ribbed textural pile—inspired by Boucherties and similar African tribal weaving techniques. Keen eyes will further admire the subtle striae in our blend of yarns, and the abrashed look it creates. So, too, does it lend the subtle variation of colors like those in the warm cream, chocolate salmon tones.
