It has been … more A vintage French art pottery figurine of a pair of mermaids dating from the mid 20th Century. It has been created in a naïve, folk art style and features hand-painted details. The statuette portrays a pair of mermaids rising above the waves, facing each other, and joyfully clapping hands. The base, designed to represent the sea, has been hand etched with the French title "La Danse" (The Dance). It has also been personally signed with the initials of the ceramic artist, Syl. Bl. less
