A French 1925-1935 art deco pendant. A gorgeous mounting in nickel plated solid brass or bronze holds a shade in clear frosted molded-pressed glass by verreries des Hanots. This hanging light was produced by Hettier et Vincent the prestigious shop in Paris of Louis Hettier and Calixte Vincent. The canopy was used for many different fixtures and is represented as such in many of the old H&V catalogs. This model Hanots shade is never signed. And referred to as 'shade CA' in the Hanots catalog. The pendant has a total height of 27 inches (68,5 cm). And the shade is 4,33" wide (11 cm) and 5.91" high.
On request I can easily give them another height by changing the length of the rod. The minimum would be a drop of some 10 inches. In the pictures I show some examples.
The hanging light is in excellent condition. I re-nickeled and patinated the mounting. The fixture is rewired with an American candelabra base socket.
