Francisco Rebajes rose to prominence in the New York art scene of the 1930s, known for his copper jewelry and other decorative objects; his work was included in exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, and the 1939 New York World’s Fair. These coasters exemplify his use of natural themes and the Art Deco influence of the time, and have a lovely antique copper finish. less
