Finished on all sides this piece was meant to be used as a butcher's chopping block / delicatessen work island, having a wonderfully shaped thick maple wooden slab butcher block top with beautifully aged patina, rich wood grain patterns and industrial metal bracket mounted corners, elevated on rectangular case fitted with a single frieze drawer over cabinet door affixed with round brass pulls, rising on bracket feet. circa 1920s/1930s
