The Stangl Magnolia pattern was designed by Kay Hackett and was introduced in 1952. It remained in production until 1978. This pattern was the first to utilize a new green engobe also developed by Kay Hackett that was different than the usual white Stangl backgrounds. The pattern is one of many floral-themed designs and features incised lines and raised detail. Like most Stangl, it is hand painted with no two pieces exactly alike. This large coffee server has the same large magnolia design on both sides. It features a large, comfortable handle and easy to pour spout. The lid is included. It is a steady piece that is heavy for its size.

Measures ~ 10 1/4" W x 9" H x 4 3/4" L. Holds 56 ounces of liquid.

In excellent vintage condition. Without chips, scratches, or cracks. The hand-painted detail is intact and the colors are bright. The glaze is shiny. Please see the pictures. See less
