Handcrafted of walnut with walnut & other wood veneers, decorative overhang to … more An antique Biedermeier style abatante secretary desk, unbranded. Handcrafted of walnut with walnut & other wood veneers, decorative overhang to top, wood keyhole escutcheons to doors with brass keys for opening, wood knob interior hardware, and a solid base. Upper section has one large lockable drawer of dovetail construction at the very top over the lockable drop down desk surface door which reveals a large solid desk surface, open mirrored center cubby flanked on either side by four small dovetail drawers over a long drawer of dovetail construction. Lower section has a lockable two door cabinet revealing interior storage which is paper lined and has one fixed center wood shelf. Includes three keys. One piece construction. Handcrafted in Austria, in the 19th Century.
