A rare French 19th century antique hand-crafted in France circa 1850. A hardy solid walnut petrin coffee table with removable top and dough bin base on square tapered legs. This kneading table features a rectangular removable top of solid planks sitting above a plain apron that contains the dough bin. Used to store the dough while proofing) the table can now be used in the home as a unique coffee table. The walnut is well patinated and has a rusticated provincial look that works for many interiors. Solid and well constructed with peg joinery this table is built to be enjoyed many more years to come.
