These steps are very sturdy and provide adequate support for whomever may wish to use these steps to get in and out of bed with. The two tier configuration is generally the most popular design as their is no risk of misjudging a step when compared to the three tiered options often produced in England. The bed steps are constructed from high quality mahogany and finished beautifully in a cherry color that has developed a wonderful patina throughout the years. These steps are designed in the traditional Chippendale style and have molded edges and well-formed cut out sides. With some of the antique bed steps we have offered in the past everyday use was not recommended however these steps have no such issues to consider. They will function perfectly for generations to come and we hope to see them in a home where they will be well cared for and see regular use. The steps measure 24 3/4" wide x 17" deep x 18" tall. less
