The handle of the blades are sterling, the blade is stainless steel, and
sharpened. You will find some light tarnish to the silver and scratch along with
very light scratch to the blade. The longer knife has more scratches where
it was sharpened. I added a very close-up photo of these scratches.
There are no monograms and they were made in the USA.
