A minimal modern lavender and maroon design in a clear studio art glass vessel or vase by husband-and-wife artist duo, Andrew Magdanz and Susan Shapiro. Signed on the bottom and dated 1980. A stunning collaborative work fusing functionality and form. Andrew Magdanz and Susan Shapiro established The Martha’s Vineyard Glassworks in 1992. With extensive careers in glass, it has long been their passion to share their knowledge and love of the material with the community around them. From a private collection, originally purchased from Habatat Galleries in Michigan. Dimensions: 4.5”h x 2”dia. In very good condition.
