A Postmodern Memphis style studio art glass sculpture by award winning glass artist Molly Stone. Signed and dated 1988. A unique composition in hot pink, teal, and purple. This is one of Stone’s early designs. Per the artist, “The design of my work is influenced by my respect and awe of the Natural World, beauty of form and color, and the inner Spirit of the moment. I choose to look towards the positive, the beautiful, and the spiritual for inspiration. Nature is my mentor.” Her work has been exhibited throughout the USA, Canada, Europe, Scandinavia, Australia, Japan, and South America. Stone’s artworks are included in museums, garden, corporate and private collections. From a private collection, originally purchased from Habatat Galleries in Michigan. Dimensions: 5.5”h x 5” dia. In very good condition.
