Circa early 20th C (1900-1925), this red lacquer hexagonal box has something for everyone. Note the abundance of auspicious symbols in polychrome detail: dragons, fish, double happiness symbol, flowers, clouds and even scholarly symbols/bound books on the sides. The attention to detail is superb and the black lacquer interior has 7 compartments for storage.
