Rare Tibetan Horse Saddle will make an exceptional conversation piece. The auspicioius carved dragons suggest this saddle was used by someone of high stature.

Patina is outstanding, the traditional Mongolian saddle is characterized by wooden base rather short and high. The pommel and cantle are raised high, stabilizing the rider and protecting him from forward and backward falls, considered the most dangerous. ... I found these saddles while working in Nepal with the US Peace Corps.
A group of nomadic tribesman came through the camp area and offered them for sale. They were quite a joyful colorful group of people, very kind, and very interesteing.
