This plate is stamped as being made by Wedgwood in England, see pictures, and it was made to commemorate Mothers Day in 1973. This plate is made in the signature Wedgwood blue color, and it features a lovely white floral garland design around the rim, and a Grecian style embossed image to the center of a mother putting her baby into a basket with "Mother 1973" written underneath. This plate comes in a Wedgwood box, but we are unsure if this is the original box for the plate.
