This piece is stamped as being made by Wedgwood in England, see pictures, and it was made to commemorate Mothers Day in 1971. This plate is made in a gorgeous all black color scheme with a gold garland design decorating the rim, and the center of the plate features a Grecian style image of a woman and a cherub. This plate does come with a Wedgwood box, but we are unsure if this is the original box for the plate.

The measurements are: height=1/2" diameter=6 1/2" approx. less
