Description: Probably from the 1920s or 1930s, this adorable little wicker piece could be used as either a writing desk or … more Probably from the 1920s or 1930s, this adorable little wicker piece could be used as either a writing desk or a vanity. I've never seen any with that little pocket in the top but I think it's just so charming. The desktop is a tiger oak veneer. It's sturdy and in pretty great shape for it's age with some minor imperfections. The chair has a little more wear, but it is also sturdy and very usable. It has a few more imperfections than the desk, a few small pieces of wicker missing and a repair to the wrap on the back of the chair, see photos. All in all for it's age it's amazing. less
