More detailed dimensions: Total length of fabric is 83" Length of fabric to bottom of "balloon" is: 79.5 Total width of fabric is: 67.25" Width of fabric at the top (without the sides) is: 55" Again, the material is wrinkled but only from folding; it will steam out. The fabric is clean and vibrant looking. The lining fabric has some water stains but they do not show at all from the front of the fabric. less

Please forgive the wrinkles--the fabric has been wrapped and stored for eight years but these wrinkles WILL steam out! These gorgeous Designer Guild fabric balloon style Roman shades (a matching pair) were custom made in a San Francisco studio in 1995. They hung in our daughter's room for twenty years and we never grew tired of their bright colors---classic Tricia Guild.
They are lined with a heavy cotton fabric which provides a blackout feature for light and privacy. They have a pulley mechanism with wooden pulls at the ends and a metal rod sewn into the bottom for weight. The nylon cording is in good working order but is discolored on the most used end from years of handling.
The size lends real drama to a room--pulled high they puff and balloon out; let down low, the inverted pleats lend a soft, custom feel to the window treatment. Really, they are both fun and lovely! The fabric has stood the test of time, physically and aesthetically. Bravo Designer Guild!
And don't forget: the fabric can be reused for some wonderful pillow covers or bolsters for a bed adding a wonderful pop of color to any bedroom! less
